Since 2008, Air Tindi has partnered with Aqsaqniq Airways, a federally incorporated joint venture based in Taloyoak, Nunavut. This partnership combines Air Tindi’s aviation expertise with Aqsaqniq Airways’ focus on creating economic and employment opportunities for Inuit communities in the Kitikmeot region.

Together, we deliver aviation services that prioritize both reliability and regional benefits. Aqsaqniq Airways plays an important role in supporting local growth and fostering training opportunities in the North.

This collaboration reflects Air Tindi’s commitment to partnerships that make a meaningful impact across the Kitikmeot and beyond.

Auyuittuq Aviation Inc. is the Qikiqtaaluk’s premier Inuit-owned helicopter provider serving Baffin Island. All fixed-wing flight operations for Auyuittuq Aviation are conducted by its minority partner Air Tindi.
This partnership is well positioned to support mineral exploration activities, search and rescue missions, wildlife surveys, land and water surveys and other applications.

As a Nunavut-based, majority Inuit-owned business, Auyuittuq Aviation has a core philosophy that contracts awarded to companies in Nunavut should be awarded in a way that ensures an open and fair process for all Nunavummiut. It is committed to creating training and employment opportunities for Inuit.

Deh Cho Airways is the fixed-wing division of 100% Aboriginal-owned Dehcho Regional Helicopters. It works in partnership with Air Tindi, which conducts all fixed-wing flight operations for the partnership.

Deh Cho Airways is ideally positioned to meet the needs of companies and public organizations involved in infrastructure planning and development, wildlife surveys, search and rescue missions as well as mineral exploration and mining activities on the traditional lands of the Dehcho People.

As the only Aboriginal-owned aviation company in the region, Deh Cho Airways is proud to also partner with Air Tindi to provide scheduled service flights to Fort Simpson which represent a critical transportation link for all residents.

Since 2009 Air Tindi has worked in partnership with Denesoline Corporation, the business arm of the Lutsel K’e Dene First Nation, to serve the fixed-wing charter aviation needs within their traditional territory. Air Tindi conducts all fixed-wing flight operations for this majority Aboriginal-owned partnership.

Denesoline-Air Tindi is ideally positioned to meet the needs of companies and public organizations involved in infrastructure planning and development as well as mineral exploration and mining on the traditional lands of the Akaitcho People.

Kivallingmiut Aviation Inc. is central Nunavut’s Premier Inuit-owned fixed-wing charter company serving both the Kivalliq region of Nunavut as well as the High Arctic. All fixed-wing flight operations for Kivallingmiut Aviation are conducted by its minority partner Air Tindi.

This partnership is well positioned to support mineral exploration activities, search and rescue missions, wildlife surveys, land and water surveys and other applications.

Since 2002 Air Tindi has formally worked in partnership with the Tlicho people to service the aviation needs of their region jointly – informally this relationship began when Air Tindi first took flight. The partnership includes the 52% majority owner Tlicho Investment Corporation and the minority partner Air Tindi, which conducts all flight operations for the partnership.

Tli Cho Air is uniquely positioned to meet the fixed-wing charter needs of companies and public organizations involved in infrastructure planning and development as well as mineral exploration and mining on the traditional lands of the Tlicho. Its leadership includes Tlicho citizens from Behchoko, Whati, Gameti and Wekweeti as well as representatives of Air Tindi.
